Scott Hall aka razor Ramon of WWE has recently been hospitalized for double pneumonia. Hall had a serious health problem for quite some time now but he never cared to look after his own health. In fact, Hall had an argument with his close friends recently as he refused to go to the hospital when he first started feeling bad and they suggested him to take medical attention.
Hall had been one of the most controversial wrestlers of his generation. His professional wrestling career began in 1984 when he was signed by Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF) and soon got involved in a feud with Dusty Rhodes. Hall later joined American Wrestling Association (AWA) and Verne Gagne, the owner and promoter of the AWA gave him a big push to the stardom after AWA’s biggest superstar Hulk Hogan left the company for Vince McMahon’s WWE. Hall was much appreciated by the fans and promoters in his later venture in National Wrestling Alliance’s World Championship Wrestling (WCW) where younger wrestling talents like Hall Sid Vicious and Brian Pillman were given a platform to showcase their wrestling talents. Hall successfully performed in WWE as Razor Ramon and was one of the major stars of WWE during the time he left the organization for Eric Bischoff’s WCW. Many years later, he returned to WWE again after Vince McMahon took over Ted Turner’s WCW promotion. But a rebel that Hall has always been, Hall left WWE again and performed in independent circuits, Total Non-stop Action (TNA) and Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
Critics always believed Hall could have been a bigger success if he had a stable personal life. He was married, later divorced and then re-married to Dana Lee Burgio. Dana and Hall finally permanently divorced in 2001 and Dana was of the opinion that Hall has been a “sick man”, a drug addict and his addiction destroyed their marriage, his children’s future as well as his own life.
Scott Hall took part in a radio show a few weeks ago with “X-Pac” Sean Waltman and when talking about his health, Hall simply broke down in tears. He said he is suffering from psychological disorder and his close one’s said he had been at his worst in recent times. Hall is still in the ICU in a hospital in Orlando, Florida. According to the doctors, his condition was listed as “guarded” a couple of days ago.
Wrestler Speaks wishes Scott Hall all the very best to get well as soon as possible. He is a talented individual and a vastly experienced wrestler. In fact, he lost quite a few pounds after he came to TNA which proves he was planning to sort things out. “Hey You”, get well soon, buddy!
