Its bad news for the fans of Rey Mysterio as the RAW wrestler has injured his knees and is expected to undergo a knee surgery soon. Rey actually suffered an injury on 6th August during the RAW House Show. WWE soon planned to bring an injury angle, however, Rey insisted on performing on SummerSlam and 15th August RAW.
Last week, Rey underwent an MRI and it was discovered that he had torn his ligaments. The doctors suggested him a surgery and Rey decided to go for it.
The news was confirmed by Rey Mysterio himself on this Twitter account and later the credibility of the news was accepted by WWE, in their official website. No exact dates for the surgery could be confirmed and hence, there’s no news regarding a potential comeback either.
