WWE Money In The Bank match may be brought back to WrestleMania this year, according to some insider reports. The WWE officials are considering a place for this match in the official WrestleMania 28 card. Incidentally, way back in 2005, for the first time, WWE Money in the Bank match was held in the grandest stage of them all and it became immensely popular among the fans. WWE continued to organize the match till 2010 continuously; however, they came up with a pay-per-view dedicated to the match in 2010. Last year, WWE decided to scrap the idea of a MITB (Abbreviation of Money In The Bank if you don’t understand) match in the WrestleMania altogether and went ahead only with the pay-per-view. The pay-per-view was great, partially because of the two WWE Money In The Bank matches, but mainly because of the amazing contest between CM Punk and John Cena.

Now, how does it bring extra benefits to WWE or what are the associated disadvantages if MITB is brought back to WrestleMania card? To be very honest, WWE Money In The Bank match became almost an integral part of the WrestleMania card and I never liked the fact that it was removed. However, if WWE indeed is able to pull this match back in WrestleMania, I think it will benefit the company in the longer run. Why do I think so? Below are my reasons:

There should be single WWE Money In The Bank Match

Well, I am not against two different WWE Money In The Bank matches for two different brands, but, if there is a single match, chances are huge that the wrestler, who wins, will get immense heat almost instantly (Be it positive or negative). It’s always better than sharing the winner’s prize than winning single, isn’t it?

If the WWE Money In The Bank match becomes a part of WrestleMania, there will be no such scope of two different MITB matches.

Make no mistake here! I have already mentioned it that Money In The Bank in 2011 was an awesome event. However, that’s where the problem lies. An awesome event does not necessarily translate into huge pay-per-views (Take an example from MITB 2011). Also, even if it does, it will be very hard for WWE to bring such excitement to this year’s event as well. The rivalries and matches were so wisely put last year; I doubt it’s almost impossible to replicate the success this New Year.

More opportunity for Mid-Carders in WrestleMania

If you are a true fan of wrestling, you must have not enjoyed the Snooki match in WrestleMania last year. I mean the Jersey Shore star is good at entertaining audiences, but, she is horrible when it comes to wrestling. Personally, though it had credible superstars, I didn’t like the Team BigShow vs. The Corre match either.

With a Money In The Bank match in the WrestleMania card, the mid-carders will have much better opportunity to showcase their talent. There will be only one winner, no doubt about that, but, some other superstars may do some high flying moves, show some amazing in-ring skills, ultimately helping their own careers. Also, a bunch of bad wrestlers participating in a string of matches is far worse than a single WWE Money In The Bank match with all the mid-carders (Or, some upper carders without a strong enough rivalry). The latter will bring magic to any event, so why not make WrestleMania magical!

It seems that wise decision has ultimately been taken by WWE as far as the Money In The Bank match is concerned. Do you want to see the WWE Money In The Bank match in WrestleMania, a separate pay-per-view or at both?

This is a piece of news that will shock all of you fans of CM Punk. The Breakout Star of WWE for year 2011 may soon be drafted to SmackDown from RAW. Though there is no official word yet on this decision of WWE, insider reports suggest that WWE creative team has made up their mind. WWE probably is going to take the decision sometime in the latter half of 2012.

CM Punk undoubtedly has turned out to be one of the biggest superstars on RAW in 2011 and has added huge entertainment value to the otherwise somewhat dull show. His promos and on-mic skills are awesome and that has helped him in connecting with the audiences. However, his inclusion in the WWE roster hasn’t helped the ratings of the show in huge way. Hence, according to WWE officials, the wise decision will be to move the wrestler into the Blue Brand (Read, SmackDown) so that Punk can show his in-ring skills in the televised event, get more promo cuts and probably a long run at the World title.

Now, I’ll come into my take. To be very honest, I’ll love to see more from Punk in RAW, he is an extremely talented wrestler and his promos off late, have been awesome. You may agree or may not, but, Punk was the hottest wrestler of this year on RAW, in spite of the fact that Cena was there all throughout. Even the whole Rock-Cena rivalry could not take the thunder away from Punk. Surprisingly, that has not turned into huge buy rates or high ratings for RAW and hence WWE creative team is looking for alternatives.

I seriously don’t know how WWE officials are planning things for future, but, for me, Punk will always be the no. 2 man in RAW, particularly when Cena is present. Make no mistake, I don’t think Punk is in anyway less deserving than Cena, but, probably, WWE officials love Cena way too much. What does it mean? Slowly but gradually exclusion of Punk from the main event scenario resulting into less screen time and importance for Punk. How a shift to Smack Down can change that?

Smack Down is not a live show. More importantly, thereis no John Cena who can outshine CM Punk. Undoubtedly, Punk is an amazing wrestler who can make even an uninteresting match a quite enjoyable one. Punk can continue on his wrestling without worrying about the ratings and hence he will ultimately be able to be the top guy in WWE. The only difference is that he will be wrestling for the World Heavyweight Championship, not the WWE Title. Do you really care as long as you get to see the man?

The Undertaker is returning for a match in WrestleMania 28, it’s pretty much a known fact now for those who are wrestling enthusiasts. Most probably, he is going to wrestle against Triple H in his WrestleMania match for a second time on a row, if insider reports are to be believed. Now, whether or not it will be a Career vs. Streak match is still a question, but, there are high chances that Shawn Michaels, the real life best friend of Triple H may be involved in this match.

We are still not sure that what role Heart Break Kid, a WWE Hall of Famer himself will play in this role, but the most convincing one should be that of a Special Guest Referee. Shawn Michaels tried to break the streak twice and he will probably be joining forces with his friend Triple H to finally end it.

Now, the question comes, is this booking something that will interest fans? No matter what, Triple H and The Undertaker put on a hell of a match in WrestleMania 27 (Don’t take my words for granted, see the full match below) and they still have that in them to put up another epic contest at the Grandest stage of them all.

However, the booking seems to be a lazy one for me. The last thing I will like to see is Triple H putting his career on the line against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28 for a chance to break the streak. Triple H has accomplished a lot of things in his life and frankly speaking, he does not need to go after against The Undertaker all over again. We have seen Career vs. Streak match before (It resulted into departure of one of the finest wrestlers of all time) and we don’t need another with the same stipulation.

Don’t take me wrong. I definitely want to see Shawn Michaels again on television but not this way. He has been a tremendous wrestler throughout his life and I still remember how dignifiedly he has kept his promise of not fighting anymore (Unlike Ric Flair). He will not accomplish anything by teaming up with Triple H in quest of finishing the streak. Also, such a booking would have meant far more logical if it was done last year.

It’s good news for the Christian’s peeps. Captain Charisma is returning soon into action. The BOK Center in Tulsa has started showing advertisements teasing the return of Christian on SmackDown for the February 7^th event. Incidentally, the former World Heavyweight Champion was injured in a match against Sheamus on 9^th November this year while the WWE roster was touring Europe.

Incidentally, Christian last time made an appearance on RAW for The Slammy Awards event and he was seen wearing a neck brace and using a crutch. Before Christian got injured, he was part of a rivalry with Sheamus and suffered two consecutive defeats on the hands of the Celtic Warrior. He was supposed to be a part of Team Barrett on Survivor Series; however, he had to withdraw himself due to the injury.

Incidentally, after Christian got injured, Sheamus is pretty much listless. He has faced many opponents in the last few months and has squashed some wrestlers inside the ring as well; however, it’s been 2 months now since he had a solid feud with someone notable. WWE seemed to try for a Sheamus vs. Swagger feud, but it didn’t really solidify to be honest.

Christian is surely a regular upper-card wrestler who can sneak into any rivalry and can attract attention from audiences. Sheamus and Christian were having a good rivalry and it is now to be watched whether the two continue with their feud or not when the latter finally makes his return, around 1 and ½ half month later.

Do You Hate John Cena? Well, here is good news for you then! WWE has finally decided to come out with a Hate John Cena t-shirt that says “Let’s Go Cena, Cena Sucks.” It seems WWE has finally paid heed to those numerous fans who just cannot tolerate Cena and always use that phrase while booing the WWE’s poster boy (Or, maybe, he is not the poster boy anymore as WWE finally showed the courage of going to a pay-per-view without using John Cena in any possible way).

As soon as the news emerged, many of Cena’s followers on Twitter asked the former WWE Champion about his thoughts on this new Hate John Cena t-shirt that WWE has made. John Cena replied to his fans saying that he just does not care about these Hate John Cena slogans anymore. So, it really does not matter to him even if WWE has gone ahead to create t-shirts based on the same slogan. He also added that WWE wanted to come up with such shirt since 2008, but, then, he said no. Another fan asked John Cena if he thinks that WWE will ever come up with a Hate The Rock t-shirt or not. Cena answered that he does not think that WWE will ever do it. Cena also added that he always stays true to his morals and such Hate John Cena slogans or t-shirts won’t change that.

Well, it seems that even though he does not want to show it, the Hate John Cena t-shirt has bothered and even disturbed Cena. However, should he mind that much? After all, there are many Cena haters around the world and putting this t-shirt on sale means increased merchandise sales figures for John Cena (Means that Cena will earn more from his merchandise sales). The Hate John Cena t-shirt is not available on the official shop of WWE; hence, we believe that it will be given out only at live events.

Were you surprised to see Mark Henry losing his World Heavyweight Championship match at TLC 2011 so early? Well, if you think that was an impromptu finish, you are right. WWE, for several months, has booked Mark Henry as a heel monster, the wrestler built huge amount of heat around him and WWE had no reason to suddenly take the limelight away from him. The original plan, according to insider sources was to keep Mark Henry as the champion (Many of the fans predicted the same outcome as well); however, Mark Henry’s injury caused WWE to change their initial plan.

Mark Henry suffered a pull in the groin area during his match on RAW against John Cena. Initially, it was thought that the injury is not something serious, but, later, certain tests were conducted and those suggested that it was way more severe than initially thought. WWE creative writers still wanted to keep Mark Henry the champion for some time even if that meant less screen time for him in SmackDown. But Vince McMahon intervened and suggested that he wants a new Champion who can compete at a regular basis and is at the best level physically. Thus, the initial plan was changed and Big Show was made the new champion (Only to be defeated by Daniel Bryan almost immediately as the latter cashed in his Money In The Bank opportunity).

This is definitely an unfortunate incident for Mark Henry who was already a monster heel in SmackDown and gathered huge momentum in the show. However, Wrestler Speaks wishes Mark Henry a speedy recovery and hope he makes a return pretty soon. Once he returns, we hope to see him as the monstrous heel once again as well. After all it is this character which made him the World Champion after 15 years of wait.

Shawn Michaels will be releasing his new eBook titled as “Diary of a Heartbreak Kid” through iTunes and Amazon. The WWE Hall of Famer has announced that the book has been co-authored by Craig Tello and it will consist of every single minute details of his career. ”Diary of a Heartbreak Kid” is expected to be of approximately 70 pages. Though an official release date is yet to be known, rumors suggest that The Heart Break Kid has decided on 27^th December to be the day.

“Diary of a Heartbreak Kid” is expected to divulge details of Shawn Michaels’ personal life, his emotions and his feelings on fulfilling his boyhood dream. It is also expected to give some insights on the Heart Break Kid’s life with wife and two kids. Shawn Michaels is also going to discuss about some of his most talked about matches and opponents such as Vince McMahon, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Triple H, The Undertaker and many more. Fans can also wait for some sort of announcement from the Heart Break Kid, though it’s not confirmed, but, the Showstopper may talk about his probable future appearances in a WWE ring.

Shawn Michaels has definitely been a hell of a wrestler inside the ring, however, his true emotions, his injuries, his thoughts everything is supposed to be revealed inside “Diary of a Heartbreak Kid”. HBK is also expected to talk about his 2011 WWE Hall Of Fame achievement in “Diary of a Heartbreak Kid.” Incidentally, Shawn Michaels is one of the youngest wrestlers to have achieved this famed status.

Do you remember Lillian Garcia? I bet you still remember the young good looking girl who used to be a part of the announce team of RAW. Garcia became immensely popular with the company, the fans within a few months and went on to become a staple of the weekly show. Lillian Garcia was with the company since 1999 and such was her popularity that she started a trend of announcers being involved in story angles of the company.

However, in mid 2009, Lillian Garcia quit the company stating that the busy schedule was taking a toll on her. She also wanted to settle down in her life which according to her was not possible, as long she was a part of the company. After quitting WWE, Lillian Garcia continued with her music career and also hosted a show with fellow WWE diva Maria Kanellis.

Now, you must be wondering, why I am writing so much about this former part of WWE? Well, you guessed it right. The beautiful lady is on her way to come back to WWE. In a recent interview of her published in the official website of WWE, Lillian Garcia announced that she will soon come back to the company. However, this time she will be calling SmackDown, not RAW.

WWE must be very happy with this decision of Lillian as their attempts of finding a suitable replacement for Lillian never worked. WWE hired singer and actress Lauren Mayhew as the RAW ring announcer, but, Mayhew left the company after working for only a few months. Lillian stated that she was missing WWE pretty bad and hence took this decision of coming back. The fans of Lillian Garcia are surely going to love this piece of news.

The Spinner WWE Championship belt may soon be changed, according to insider reports. Though nothing is confirmed as of yet, some members of the organization are in favor of changing the current spinner look of the belt and turn it into some traditional looking belt; similar to what it used to look earlier. There were rumors that WWE would soon start a competition among fans asking them to vote for a design of their choice, something that never happened though.

Within the organization, many are looking forward to change the current design of the belt, however, many are still skeptic and that’s only for a single reason. The spinner built is hugely popular among kids and the spinner belt merchandizes sell a lot. Some WWE officials are afraid that if they somehow change the design to something new, the merchandize profit may be hit hard.

Some suggests that a new design of the WWE Championship belt is already there developed and ready to be used, however, there has been no official confirmation on the design change and hence no further proceedings are being made on that regard. Vince McMahon is particularly afraid of the crowd reaction to the championship belt and he insists on discussing every single aspect before going for a new design. It is now to be seen that when WWE ultimately decides to go for the changed design if they at all go that way.

It’s good news for the fans of Evan Bourne. The wrestler’s 30 day suspension has been lifted and he will be brought back into the wrestling picture soon. Incidentally, Bourne violated the Talent Wellness Program of WWE and hence suffered a suspension of 30 days.

Incidentally, on 1^st November, 2011, it was announced that Bourne has failed the test and hence the one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions will go through the suspension.

Bourne, whose actual name is Matthew Korklan, reportedly was tested positive for a synthetic marijuana brand named as Spice. It is also being reported that WWE’s creative team is currently analyzing the different scenarios to mark the high-flying wrestler’s return.
