Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan – two of the biggest names of professional wrestling recently involved in a verbal battle. The war of words started when WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was asked about his opinion on another WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Hart tweeted: “Hogan’s nothing but a two-faced, backstabbing, steroid freak who deserved everything he got.” Hogan didn’t take long to respond to Bret as he tweeted the very next saying,” Listen to where Bret’s speaking from, it’s funny he’s done everything he’s saying I did.” Next came Bret’s lethal slap when he tweeted, “HulkHogan4Real That’s not what John Graziano thinks, dickhead.” John Graziano is the young man who was riding Nick Hogan’s car that meet an accident on August 2007. Graziano is now left permanently brain damaged and his family, after receiving an undisclosed amount of money from Hulk, settled the lawsuit. Now it will be interesting to see what Hogan comes up with.

According to some sources, Jersey Shore star Snooki will be at Raw next week. In recent weeks, WWE superstar John Cena was found trading messages with Snooki on Twitter. There she was found expressing her love for WWE and how eager he is to meet Cena. Snooki, real name Nicole Polizzi, seems to be in talks with the organization and an appearance deal may have already been struck between them.

Along with “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong and HBK Shawn Michaels, WWE has now officially confirmed the name of Tammy “Sunny” Sytch in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011. Tammy enjoyed most of her success in WWE as “Sunny” from 1995 to 1998. She participated in WrestleMania XXV in 2009 in the 25 Diva Battle Royal for the crown of “Miss WrestleMania”.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart believes his brother Owen would still have been alive if he could be around him. Bret Hart’s affection for his younger brother is a well-known phenomenon in the wrestling world and Bret stated several times how much he misses his brother. Hart decided to leave WWE in 1997 after the infamous “Montreal Screw job” took place.

Hart was recently interviewed by The Sun and he made it very clear there that he wanted Owen “The Rocket” Hart to join WCW with him. Owen was reluctantly agreed to his brother’s wish as well but Eric Bischoff, the WCW supremo those days, didn’t want The Rocket to be a part of his show.  He even said The Rocket could only be successful in a currently defunct Atlanta-based wrestling organization.  As a result, Owen had to stay back in WWE. He continued to shine in WWE, though as a mid-carder until a tragic accident cut his life short in 1999. During a PPV in Kansas City, his entrance stunt tragically went wrong and he fell from 78 feet high safety harness and landed chest-first on the top rpoe. He was immediately treated by the paramedics and rushed to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Hart said Owen used to discuss every small thing with him as long as Bret was in WWE. So Bret could help him out in all sorts of issues, both professional and personal. Bret also stressed that had he been in WWE, he would always advise Owen against that stunt and Owen would certainly have listened to him. Bret had opposed Owen’s wife Martha recently as the latter wanted WWE to erase anything and everything that bears the memory of Owen “the Rocket” Hart, the wrestler. Bret was vocal as he believed that will be like killing the legacy of Owen Hart, a man who loved his profession.

Good News for the Bret Hart fans! After a split up with WWE following the much condemned “Montreal Screw Job” and an exile of 12 years from WWE, the brand is again going to see some tricks from the “Excellence of Execution”! The Wrestling Observer has recently that Bret Hart and Vince McMahon’s company have agreed to a short-term deal. His WWE appearance had started in the early days of January 2010 and is going to be continued till April 2010, the month of Wrestlemania.

A preparation had been going on for a few weeks to build the platform and create some hype before bringing Bret “The Hitman” Hart back in WWE. It first started with the guest General Manager of Raw Dennis Miller who was asked by Vincent Kennedy McMahon to name a person who can be the next GM of Raw. Miller, along with support of the Texas fans, named Bret Hart. The signals were clearer when the “Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels told Vince if he will bring Bret back, only good things can happen. Finally, Bret returned on WWE as a guest GM and the fans, quite naturally, went crazy. Bret called Shawn and Vince out inside the ring to clear the air. Shawn, currently working as a babyface in the brand, entered and confronted Bret. The ending was something he fans wanted to see for quite long; Bret shaking hands with Shawn! Vince came later and initially played a good guy; but he cheap-shot Bret and left the ring. The stage is now set, and the fans can expect a good storyline from now on to use this small stint of Bret hart to its full.

No matter how hard Vince McMahon tries to distance WWE from wrestling; the veterans of the game as well as the legends will never accept this concept. An example of the same was found recently when WWE Hall of Famer Bret “the Hitman” Hart was interviewed by a British tabloid. Bret found the company’s decision to be “confusing”.  Bret said, “I am kind of scratching my head about that”. He believes wrestling will always remain wrestling, no matter whatever name you use to address it and WWE is synonymous to wrestling. Bret thinks the game is changed now-a-days; youngsters prefer wrestlers like HBK or Bret Hart over people like Hogan or King Kong Bundy who were more like body builders, strongmen or power lifters.  Bret also said he heard Shawn Michaels wanted to get inducted into WWE Hall of Fame by him but Bret felt Triple H inducting Shawn makes most sense. Bret also expressed his run in WWE since his reunion and is always ready to give fans moments they would love.

Bret “The Hitman” Hart and “Nature Boy” Ric Flair has never been best of friends. These two individuals had performed together several times under promotions like World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW); but they could not go along well. Bret Hart has always been more cool and composed of the two; still the verbal battle never stopped. But recently, Ric has launched a quite unexpected attack on Bret that left the wrestling fans stunned; he said Bret Hart is nothing but a big hype; he is nothing but “a mid-card wrestler”.

In a recent radio show in Canada, Flair dropped the bomb saying Bret Hart “is a p***-ant in the history of wrestling”. This was enough to stun the fans; but Nature Boy went on saying Bret “is a legend in his own mind. He lives I his own little world…. He screws his own family around. Who is Bret Hart?” Flair believes Bret’s career is never comparable to his own. Flair, truly, has been a veteran who has brawled against the likes of Dory Funk, Jerry Brisco, Harley race and many great legends of the business. But many a fans believe such words don’t suite a 16 time World Heavyweight Champion. Moreover, Bret Hart has also earned a good share of respect from the wrestling fraternity with his talent and achievements. The situation turned worse when Bret was asked about his thoughts. Bret certainly was a little embarrassed to hear such words. But he immediately returned the favor by calling Ric “the most overrated guy in the business.” Now unarguably, they both stand for everything that represents excellence in the business. It is quite painful for the fans to see them into such school-kid like verbal arguments every now than then. They seem to have forgotten the basic: “Give respect, get respect”. Grow up Guys!

If everything goes right, WWE fans may soon get a new rocking DVD in their hands that deal with the rocky relationship that Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels shared over the years. If Jim Ross’s latest hints in Twitter at all point to something, WWE is all set to release a DVD which talks about the relationship between these WWE legends.

Shawn Michaels & Bret Hart probably had one of the most controversial rivalries in the history of wrestling industry and things got to a new level altogether when Bret was screwed by Vince. Yes, the very infamous Montreal Screwjob is being referred here! The match was contested between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, which was supposed to end with Bret Hart’s victory. But, Vince somehow interrupted and Heart Break Kid stole a win.

Jim Ross posted on his twitter account that the two superstars were interviewed by him for a new WWE DVD and this sparked all the rumors. WWE insiders also confirmed the plans of such a DVD. The DVD will also cover what Bret thought of Shawn’s retirement decision and HBK’s reaction to Bret Hart’s WWE departure and re-entry. Incidentally, Bret Hart made his WrestleMania comeback against Vince in WrestleMania 26, the same event where Shawn contested his last match against the Deadman. When the DVD is officially out, more insights about this rocky relationship will be divulged; particularly fans will surely be more interested about the 90s phase between these two.

It‘s been a while since the fans across the globe has seen WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart on TV. It has recently been confirmed by PWInsider that Bret’s contract with WWE has expired. The organization, therefore, is only using him at some live events and other promotional appearances but not in TV. But since his return to WWE, Bret has been in very good terms with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and the organization in general.  The company has some big plans for Bret Hart. It is possible that WWE will re-hire him soon again.

WWE has rocked their fans at Orlando as they hosted their flagship show Monday Night Raw here at the new Amway Center for the very first time. WWE is so popular in this part of the country that Orange County Mayor Rich Crotty and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer both are trying their best to convince WWE to build a permanent home here. Nothing has been made official by WWE yet. But the authorities only confirmed a primary conversation about the possibility. But it at all takes place, both mayors hope they can bring it to Central Florida.

Rumors develop regarding the health condition of Bobby “The Brain” Heenan recently.  Last Wednesday, former WWE wrestler Lanny Poffo has made a comment on Bobby’s health on his Poetry in Motion podcast. He reported that Bobby Heenan has been in and out of a coma in a hospital at Tampa, Florida. According to him, Bobby is not doing any good at all and has remained unconscious throughout this period. WWE wrestler MVP also tweeted recently showing his concern about The Brain. There he remembered how Bobby used to encourage him in his early days. But independent circuit promoter David Herro is of a complete opposite opinion. He said he recently spoke with Cindy Heenan, the wife of Bobby Heenan. Bobby is not in coma or in any hospital. He’s doing fine back at his home.
