These two individuals had performed together several times under promotions like World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW); but they could not go along well. Bret Hart has always been more cool and composed of the two; still the verbal battle never stopped. But recently, Ric has launched a quite unexpected attack on Bret that left the wrestling fans stunned; he said Bret Hart is nothing but a big hype; he is nothing but “a mid-card wrestler”.

In a recent radio show in Canada, Flair dropped the bomb saying Bret Hart “is a p***-ant in the history of wrestling”. This was enough to stun the fans; but Nature Boy went on saying Bret “is a legend in his own mind. He lives I his own little world…. He screws his own family around. Who is Bret Hart?” Flair believes Bret’s career is never comparable to his own. Flair, truly, has been a veteran who has brawled against the likes of Dory Funk, Jerry Brisco, Harley race and many great legends of the business. But many a fans believe such words don’t suite a 16 time World Heavyweight Champion. Moreover, Bret Hart has also earned a good share of respect from the wrestling fraternity with his talent and achievements. The situation turned worse when Bret was asked about his thoughts. Bret certainly was a little embarrassed to hear such words. But he immediately returned the favor by calling Ric “the most overrated guy in the business.” Now unarguably, they both stand for everything that represents excellence in the business. It is quite painful for the fans to see them into such school-kid like verbal arguments every now than then. They seem to have forgotten the basic: “Give respect, get respect”. Grow up Guys!

Former TNA wrestler and current WWE superstar Awesome King is expected to make is WWE debut at the Royal Rumble. King recently signed with WWE after her contract with TNA expired. She will probably show up during the WWE Divas Championship match where Natalya will defend her title against Michelle McCool and Layla.

Some fans still believe former WWE superstar Batista may return to WWE soon. But that doesn’t seem to happen in near future. Batista didn’t have a good start to his MMA career and has failed to earn the stardom in this business. WWE has added mason Ryan in their main roaster which proves they are not expecting a ‘Batista return’ any time sooner. Mason, with his goatee and huge physique, looks very much like ‘The Animal’ and he is the newest member of Nexus.

After Kurt Angle, the ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair has withdrawn his name from TNA’s European tour recently. Reports disclose that Ric asked for a financial advance during the tour which was rejected by tour manager Craig Jenkins. Flair felt disrespected and decided not show up in Germany. Meanwhile HBK, the WWE 2011 Hall of Famer wants Ric to be present during the ceremony. WWE apparently has no problem with that provided his face will not be shown during the on air program. It will be interesting to watch whether TNA will permit Ric to show up or not.
