Well, this is certainly a piece of news that will make the entire WWE universe happy. The Undertaker is indeed returning back to the company, it is confirmed now. Though the WWE officials have not declared anything as of yet directly, but, insider sources reveal that the Dead man had a successful shoulder and hip operation. He will start his training soon as well and it is expected that he will be completely fit to wrestle in the upcoming WrestleMania to be held in Miami.

It is also stated that the opponent of the Undertaker in WrestleMania has already been decided. We really don’t have any names as of yet and we will definitely let the Wrestler Speaks visitors know about it as soon as we get an update.

The Undertaker probably will wrestle in his final WrestleMania this time and his match will be the Top 2 match of the event. The top spot obviously will be taken by the bout between The Rock and John Cena, which has been advertised since the previous version of this Pay Per View. Now, the biggest question remains unanswered is when and how will the Undertaker return to WWE? May be Royal Rumble, may be earlier! Well, what I think is the latest will be Royal Rumble, not later than that. After all, WWE will need some time to build the heat around another epic encounter of The Undertaker in WrestleMania 28.

It received overwhelming response and here goes the latest update on The Undertaker and his probable WrestleMania 28 plan.

Putting all rumors aside, The Undertaker is indeed returning. This may well be for the last time, but, we most probably will see him in WrestleMania 28. But, he is not returning on that event, but probably way before that. WWE originally had plans of making the deadman return on SummerSlam or Night of the Champions, but, that’s not going to happen. WWE, on October, will have a revamped Vengeance pay-per-view and in their latest magazine issue, they have teased a possible return of The Deadman on that event. Incidentally, it was in 2007, when for the last time, Vengeance was billed as a pay-per-view. If the 46-year-old wrestler however does not get completely fit by that time, he will ultimately return on Survivor Series or Royal Rumble.

The Undertaker is currently on a recovering stage and has started mild training as well. He doesn’t have any plans of wrestling post WrestleMania 28, but for the last few months, when he will be inside the ring, Taker wants to enjoy every moment of it and probably entertain fans like never before. Who does not love to see The Undertaker in his best and the wrestling legend is actually planning to provide fans some damn good matches before ending his long illustrious career.

Very Recently, we have received an update that The Undertaker is indeed returning for WrestleMania 28. Want to know more about it? Click Here.

These two WWE veterans gifted the fans a remarkable match last year in Wrestlemania 25. Now only four days away from the grandest wrestling extravaganza, it seems that they are all set to meet each other yet again. The match is being confirmed for a while now. But this year, the challenge is a bit tougher. During the build-up of this match, the storyline showcased a dejected and frustrated Shawn Michaels who is utterly upset with his last year’s performance in Wrestlemania and is keen to meet the Undertaker again. As Taker was the World Heavyweight Champion then, Shawn had to become the No.1 contender to face the Dead Man. But he lost a few open opportunities and was in no position to fight the match. In order to provoke Taker, Shawn appeared inside the Elimination Chamber in WWE’s last Pay per View and super-kicked the Phenom that cost him the title. Taker, no more the Champ now, decides to face Shawn under one condition; if Shawn loses, he must retire. Shawn accepted the challenge and this match now will put Shawn’s career on the line against Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

Retirement angles are mostly trivial in wrestling business. Fingers will point towards Ric Flair who is wrestling for TNA nearly two years after “retiring forever” at Wrestlemania 24. Ironically, he lost his ‘last’ match to Shawn Michaels. But Shawn might actually say goodbye to wrestling. He suffered a debilitating back injury that snatched four long years of his career and the 44 year old might not be interested to endanger his life anymore. There are also chances of the Undertaker giving up his streak. Although he is one of the most popular wrestlers in the history of the game, he will turn 45 during Wrestlemania 26 and physically is not in the best of shapes. Storyline wise, this might be a clear indication that age has started taking its toll on him and he might decide not to be around next year. The sensations of the “Attitude Era” are now the senior performers and are considering retirement as an option in real life. This makes the match even more interesting as the result may indicate who is going to say goodbye in near future.

WWE Smackdown is recently enjoying one of the time-tested feuds; Kane vs. The Undertaker, the battle of brothers! In recent past, The Undertaker had an injury during an un-aired match with Rey Mysterio. Taker had minor injuries during the match and was out of the ring for a few weeks. WWE creative team started a brilliant new angle using this real-life injury of “The Phenom”. Storyline-wise, his brother Kane found him in a vegetative state and was in pursuit of the culprit. Kane, during The Undertaker’s absence, won the World Heavyweight Title against Rey Mysterio in ‘Money in the Bank’ PPV.

Once Taker returned, WWE Universe came to know the attacker was Kane himself! Since then, the two veteran WWE performers have started a feud that gained instant popularity among the fans. This rivalry was a part of the storyline many times earlier, and it still seems to be a hit among the fans. They met each other in two PPVs in a row: ‘Night of the Champions’ and ‘Hell in a Cell’ and on both occasions, Taker lost the match to Kane. Paul Bearer, another legendary manager with strong past links with both Kane and The Undertaker is also brought back to give the storyline a big push.

Kane deserved the limelight long back. Glen Jacobs, the man behind the character Kane, has been a dedicated and hardworking performer with an undying loyalty to Vince McMahon’s company. He recently expressed his desire to quit professional wrestling and start a career in politics. But that may well not be the reason why he is given this push. WWE is recently going through a big transitional phase. Established stars like HBK, Jericho, Matt Hardy, Rick Flair, Jeff Hardy, Hulk Hogan, Dave Batista – all have either retired, taken a break from wrestling or joined the rival promotion TNA. Other stars The Undertaker will retire soon, Triple H is out due to injury. To make the situation worse, no young superstar except John Cena and Randy Orton came up to fill their shoes. This made WWE to bring forth young guns like Wade Barrett, Heath Slater, David Otunga, Darren Young and many others to the limelight earlier than expected. During this time, this was the best possible storyline that can bring sure success.

Since his return, Undertaker looks much weaker than his usual self. This may be a hint to the fans that Taker is growing weaker with time and will retire soon. The brothers will probably meet soon again in the one of the PPVs in a ‘Buried Alive’ match. Now it will be interesting to see how the story takes its shape in future.

The reign of the King of darkness is over? Well, WWE fans were stunned after WWE Smackdown’s June 4th, 2010 telecast as the show hinted something similar to such disturbing news. As the show kicked off, Smackdown GM Theodore Long announced that “The Phenom” was beaten severely by several unknown entities last weekend and was left in a vegetable state. There is no perfect update about his conditions but it seems that he is dead. Kane, the kayfabe brother of the Undertaker was featured throughout the show and he was in pursuit of the man or men behind taker’s death. Kane vowed in front of the WWE fans that he will find out and make the culprit pay for his deeds.

Hey Guys! Don’t worry. Mark Calaway is absolutely fine in real life. Neither WWE has any plans to drop the character of The Undertaker all of a sudden. Actually during a match with Rey Mysterio for Tuesday’s TV taping, Mark broke his orbital bone and nose. He will be out of action for nearly 6 to 8 months. WWE, therefore, have decided to use this injury in the storyline to draw some serious attention to Smackdown. It seems that he plan worked well as “Undertaker Dead” keyword has been one of the three most searched keywords on the web last week.

Many fans must have noticed that The Undertaker aka Mark Calaway has been slowing down a lot in recent years. No doubt, this man is an incredible legend and has been one of the key wrestlers behind WWE’s success over the years. But let’s face it, he’s 45 and his body can’t take the fierce beating as it could some 5 to 6 years ago. Taker’s injury has made it impossible for him to participate in the upcoming PPV “Fatal 4 Way”. Now it’s up to WWE creative writers, they have an unexpected chance to use their grey matter and work on “Undertaker Dead” storyline. Let’s wait and watch what they can come up with.

The show opened with Justin Roberts welcoming the crowd to the show and introducing Keri Hilson who sang “America the Beautiful”.

World Heavyweight Championship: Edge (Champ) vs. Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio didn’t get much of fan reaction as he entered the ring. Brodus Clay was at ringside to accompany the Mexican wrestler. Edge was interrupted by Brodus Clay but managed to grab a victory by hitting a spear on Del Rio. Winner: Edge

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes

This match saw Rey Mysterio in an extravagant outfit that resembled the costume of Captain America. But his performance in the match was not as heroic as the comic book hero. Mysterio was hit by “Cross Rhodes” and was pinned by Cody resulting in his defeat on the biggest stage of the year. Winner: Cody Rhodes

Big Show, Kane, Kofi Kingston & Santino Marella vs. The Corre

The unlikely team of Big Show, Kane, Kofi and Santino pulled out the shortest match of this year’s WrestleMania. Big Show hit Heath Slater with a KO punch and easily pinned him. Winners: Big Show, Kane, Kofi Kingston & Santino Marella

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

This was the “dark horse” bout of the night. There was no title involved and still the match drew some serious attention of the WWE fans present in the arena. Randy started as the crown favorite but Punk fought brilliantly with some good old wrestling maneuvers. He, however, lost the match after being hit by the RKO. Winner: Randy Orton

Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler

This was significant for two reasons. Firstly, it was the first WrestleMania match for Jerry “the King” Lawler. Secondly, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was the guest referee in this match. The result of this match was almost certain as Austin was in support of “the good guy” Lawler. Lawler won the match by putting the ankle lock on Cole who gave up the match by tapping out. But later the anonymous GM of Raw handed the match over to Cole. Winner: Michael Cole

The Undertaker vs. Triple H

This was the biggest attraction of the night. Both men got huge response from the fans as they entered the ring. Taker was at his very best and so was Triple H. The Phenom was repeatedly hit by Triple H only to kick out during the pinfall. Finally, he applied Hell’s Gate on Triple H who succumbed to Taker’s hold and was forced to tap out. Winner: The Undertaker

Trish Stratus, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi & John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler & LayCool

This was a kind of “WWE-Glamour world collaboration” match. Snooki was the key attraction of the matchup. She successfully charmed the audience with her wrestling moves and her team managed to grab the victory by pinning Michelle McCool. Winners: John Morrison, Trish Stratus & John Morrison

WWE Championship: The Miz (Champ) vs. John Cena

This match was on under scanner as many fans wanted to check the ability of The Miz on the biggest show of this business. Miz impressed the audience and put on a good show. Initially, Miz held the tile as both competitors were counted out. But later, The Rock entered and restarted the match. Cena was hit by a huge Rock Bottom and Miz cashed in the opportunity. He crawled over Cena managed a victory by pinfall. Winner: The Miz

He formed a new stable together with Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel. The faction was not named during their first TV appearance. But after last week’s televised SmackDown, now it seems they are going to be dubbed as “The Core”.

Triple H is medically fit to be back in the ring again. He is fully healed from the surgery he had to face on his torn bicep muscle. But WWE creative team has decided to wait a little more to create the right atmosphere for the return of “The Cerebral Assassin”. They believe strategically the most apt moment will be either at Royal Rumble or WrestleMania to have the biggest impact on the WWE Universe. Significantly, Triple H is booked to fight King Sheamus on March 19 at Madison Square Garden in a NYC Street fight.

The Undertaker was backstage at TLC Pay per View of WWE. He is currently suffering from a rotator cuff injury. But Taker looked in good shape and is very optimistic about his return at WrestleMania. The doctors, however, made it clear that WrestleMania is the earliest he would be able to return. So fans, keep your fingers crossed!

Rather, everyday some new rumors are popping up from various sources. The recent one says the UFC 121 tickets for The Undertaker and his wife Michelle McCool were provided by UFC itself. This might well not be anything out of the ordinary. But there are several other individual incidents that might point towards a well-planned plotting.

The Undertaker and his wife chartered a flight to reach to UFC 121 show last Saturday. The flight was from Anaheim, California to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Taker opted against a commercial flight as that would get him late to the building. Fans wonder why was The Undertaker so eager to reach there right on time and was not interested to take any chance at all. It is said that even UFC President Dana White was not aware of anything like that could take place, the same can be said about Ariel Helwani, the interviewer. Experts don’t believe them but opines even if they are taken to be true, the confrontation would still have went down. A large section of the WWE Universe takes the confrontation to be true as these two superstars had never been best of friends in WWE; still they always had a lot of respect for each other.

Dana White made it very clear that he won’t allow any of his contracted superstars to participate in pro-wrestling and he has a special contract with Brock Lesnar that restrains him from participating in any boxing or wrestling match without proper permission from UFC . But it seems there is a chance of Brock Lesnar showing up in WWE Wrestlemania 27 just like Floyd Mayweather did a few years back. Even the WWE creative team is not sure whether it was personal or a set-up; still they are told to start a new story angle with Taker and Lesnar together.

The Undertaker had made an open challenge to his former colleague and current UFC superstar Brock Lesnar for a match at Wrestlemania 27. The officials of both organizations are yet to confirm the news but The Undertaker’s recent appearance at UFC 21 has established this possibility strongly. He recently lost a ‘Buried Alive’ match against his kayfabe brother Kane at the ‘Bragging Rights’ PPV. Just a few days after the loss, The Undertaker, Mark Callaway in real life, was found watching Brock Lesnar at UFC 21 last Saturday in a championship bout against Cain Velasquez.

During the show, Taker gave a video interview to reporter Ariel Helwani. When Lesnar was walking past, The Phenom greeted the former WWE Champion with an icy stare and asked him, “You wanna do it?” But the words were delivered in a low voice and Helwani couldn’t hear it amidst the roaring crowd. When he asked The Undertaker about that, he replied it was just something personal. Brock lost his coveted MMA Championship title to Velasquez that night but fans looked more concerned about Taker’s appearance than Brock’s title loss.

Many wrestling experts believe Taker’s participation in the show certainly couldn’t happen without the approval of Vince McMahon and Dana White, the respective owners of WWE and MMA. The reporter, Helwani, later stated in his Twitter that he certainly was not a part of any scripted angle. Surely, it seems no one but the characters and masterminds involved in this story were aware of this. But this, unarguably, was a smart business move and most creative story angle of the decade in the world of professional wrestling. Dana White was contacted later that evening but he claimed to know nothing about this incident in advance.

You can watch the video of that incident here

All the speculations have finally been proved to be true. Mark Calaway aka “The Undertaker” of WWE got married to Michelle McCool, a WWE diva and former school teacher. The pair has been romantically linked for a few years and tied their knots in a low profile, homely ceremony in Houston, Texas. Mark is a 45 year old veteran wrestler and Michelle is only 30, 15 years junior to the “Deadman”. The couple invited a selected group of friends to attend the function. Former WWE diva Lisa Marie Varon aka “Victoria“ or “Tara” of TNA published a photo in her Twitter account where she was pictured with Torrie Wilson, McCool and Sharmell Huffman, the wife of Booker T. These three are thought to have attended the marriage ceremony of McCool.

According to the WWE storyline, Undertaker is now at a “vegetative state” and his kayfabe brother Kane is hunting for the culprit in WWE weekly shows. Mark took this time out to heal his injury during a match against Rey Mysterio. This is Mark’s third marriage; previously, he was married to Jodi Lynn in 1989 and they got divorced in 1999. The couple has a son together. Mark married his second wife Sara the following year. They had two daughters together. In fact, Mark was so deeply in love with Sara that he tattooed her name on his neck. The tattoo was found covered in recent times which ignited the speculation that this might be a hint that Mark’s married life with Sara may have come to an end. His marriage with Michelle proved the speculation to be right.

Michelle also has had a previous marriage. The 30 year old “self-professed” co-women’s champion was married to her high-school sweetheart but the marriage ended in 2006. This marriage is, however, not expected to be acknowledged on the WWE storylines.

Wrestler Speaks wishes the couple a happy and an ever-lasting married life.
