Kevin Nash has finally made his WWE return. Though Big Daddy Cool was not featured in any match, but his return probably was the most shocking moment of the night. He put his hands on CM Punk, the biggest anti-hero of WWE now and cost him the WWE championship belt. Alberto Del Rio finally cashed in his Money In The Bank brief case and claimed his destiny – WWE Championship.

But, what does Kevin Nash’s return suggest? Was it a one-time wonder just like Royal Rumble or he is back for good? If the 2nd option is a truth, then, probably, on RAW, he will explain why he hit CM Punk. Please remember that Kevin Nash is one of the closest alleys of Triple H, the current chairman of WWE. Seeing Kevin Nash’s actions, Triple H seemed to be as clueless as others though.

We all know that there are rumors of a probable Triple H vs. CM Punk showdown at WrestleMania 28. May be Nash appeared to give that an extra bit of fuel, may be cayfabe wise, it was Triple H, who plotted him against Punk. All of these are just speculations though and only time can tell the reason behind Nash’ actions.

The fans may be disappointed about the news but as days are passing by, Sting joining WWE is looking more like a rumor. Now it seems the 02.21.11 Promo was meant to glorify the return of The Undertaker. In fact, there are a couple of things that go against the ‘Sting coming to WWE’ story. In Sting’s official website, the calendar shows he is booked for TNA’s PPVs till July 15th (TNA- Victory Road). The possibilities, however, of Taker’s return as “The Deadman” is thin as he was “Buried Alive” by Kane. Logically, returning as “The Deadman” will intensify his feud with Kane in which WWE creative team, apparently, is not interested anymore. Interestingly, Wrestler Speaks found a video that was, as per some rumors, uploaded at WWE.com initially and was later replaced. You can see that rumored video here. However, if you follow carefully, the first half of the video looks different from the second half; clearly confirming it to be a hoax. But whoever is behind this promo, things are surely getting more mysterious.

Recently, UGO.com published a list of 25 most over-rated wrestlers of all time. But the news is, Triple H is crowned with the No. 1 position in the list. Triple H is a 13 time World Champions but was also named Most Overrated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards on three consecutive occasions (2002, 2003 and 2004) and again in 2009. UGO.com wrote, “If Triple H was as great as people say he is, the past 13 years of constant pushes shouldn’t have just turned him into another Rock or “Stone Cold,” it should have gotten him elected King of the Universe.” The rest of the list is as follows:

25. Diesel

24. Arn Anderson

23. Alberto Del Rio

22. Jerry Lynn

21. Shelton Benjamin

20. Verne Gagne

19. Jeff Jarrett

18. Sabu

17. Finlay

16. Christopher Daniels

15. Mr. Anderson

14. William Regal

13. Indy Geeks (Mike Quackenbush pictured)

12. Randy Orton

11. Gorgeous George

10. Scott Hall

9. Dean Malenko

8. Owen Hart

7. Christian

6. Curt Hennig

5. Miss Elizabeth

4. Jerry “The King” Lawler

3. Giant Baba

2. Hulk Hogan

1. Triple H

The Rock is officially declared as the Host of WrestleMania 27 on Raw yesterday. During his promo on Raw, The Great One called out John Cena and expressed his wish to meet him face-to-face at the WrestleMania PPV. He also mocked John Cena’s look and promos. John Cena responded to The Rock’s comments on Raw via Twitter. He wrote, “CeNation. Rock was in rare form tonight. It was great to see him enjoying himself out there. Even if it was at my expense. I’ve been Called alot worse. Just glad to see him back in action.” Can you smell what is cooking over here?

He is accompanied by his wife and daughter of WWE chairman Stephanie McMahon and Triple H has also been named the head of the latest talent development program that WWE has launched. Under this program, the first superstar that WWE signed was Sin Cara. Triple H’s team has also made a promo for marking Awesome Kong’s WWE debut.

According to reports, Triple H wants to follow an old school strategy to first build up crowd anticipation for a WWE character first and then only make them show up in front of the fans.

Triple H is also quite adamant not to bring a superstar in the main roster before making them ready. According to the wrestler, such examples can be found inside WWE itself where superstars were moved to main roster, but due to lack of appeal, had to be sidelined later and hence it caused a premature death for their WWE characters.

Hunter is scheduled this year to fight The Undertaker in a “No Holds Barred” match at WrestleMania 27. He was out of action for months due to an injury and made his television return on 21st February, 2011, the day Undertaker returned after being buried by Kane in a World Heavyweight title match. Triple H interrupted during Taker’s return and challenged him for WrestleMania 27. The build-up was enjoyed by WWE Universe as Taker defeated Hunter’s best friend HBK last year and forced him to retire. Triple H currently uses “The Game” theme composed by Motor Head. This is his most popular entrance theme and has no intensions to replace it with any other music. He, however, occasionally used other music like “King of Kings” which was popular but never used on a regular basis. This WrestleMania, Triple H will use a fan favorite Metallica number as his entrance theme. Metallica confirmed this news on Facebook but the number is not mentioned. Fans, however, are speculating is may well be “For Whom the Bell Tolls”.

Former WWE superstar and current TNA Tag Team specialist Brother Ray recently had an interview where he poured his heart out to the fans. The WWE Universe might be upset to know that neither he nor Brother D Von has any plans to return to WWE. They are quite happy to play their roles in TNA. They admitted that WWE means a lot more money and glamour as a professional. He also admitted the things he learned there, but he feels the company doesn’t have any strong Tag Team in their roaster. There is no more Edge & Christian, Too Cool, Acolytes or Hardys to work with now-a-days. WWE may not be interested to re-hire then either but the point Team 3D has raised sounds to be valid.

There might be a role change for Triple H soon. Hunter is now out of the ring but is expected to return soon. But sources believe he is gradually planning his career away from the ring and studying the pros and cons of marketing. He already has a good grip over the creative requirements in the business. Stephanie currently is spending more time at home with her three kids. SmackDown writer Michael Hayes and Raw’s Brian Gewirtz, as a result, are given more creative powers in her absence.

Former WWE superstar “Macho Man” Randy Savage is back in WWE! Not in person though, but as a playable character in the upcoming WWE All Stars video game. The game is set to release on 29th March, 2011. Along with Macho Man, you can also find The Rock, John Cena, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Big Show, Triple H and Sheamus in the game. The news has now been confirmed and WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for the release of the game.

You can find the trailer starring Macho Man here.

He formed a new stable together with Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel. The faction was not named during their first TV appearance. But after last week’s televised SmackDown, now it seems they are going to be dubbed as “The Core”.

Triple H is medically fit to be back in the ring again. He is fully healed from the surgery he had to face on his torn bicep muscle. But WWE creative team has decided to wait a little more to create the right atmosphere for the return of “The Cerebral Assassin”. They believe strategically the most apt moment will be either at Royal Rumble or WrestleMania to have the biggest impact on the WWE Universe. Significantly, Triple H is booked to fight King Sheamus on March 19 at Madison Square Garden in a NYC Street fight.

The Undertaker was backstage at TLC Pay per View of WWE. He is currently suffering from a rotator cuff injury. But Taker looked in good shape and is very optimistic about his return at WrestleMania. The doctors, however, made it clear that WrestleMania is the earliest he would be able to return. So fans, keep your fingers crossed!

Another huge announcement was made recently when Triple H, The Game, declared his return in the squared circle during WrestleMania. No doubt, this was a great boost for the WWE fans.

Triple H recently interviewed by Project 9-6-1 radio. Hunter clarified there that he was actually having a nagging injury that made him suffer for a year and a half. He was recovering from it when he tore his bicep one day during the training and this incident prolonged his stay away from the ring.

Hunter has almost reached the state from where he can be considered ‘match fit’. In fact, he made a brief appearance recently in WWE Fan’s Appreciation Night and wrestled against Alberto Del Rio. He found himself comfortable inside the ring but neither doctors nor WWE want to take any risk with him. The Undertaker is already out as his torn rotator calf seems to be more severe than expected earlier. So the organization wants to be completely sure about Triple H’s physical condition before they allow him to return. Hunter also declared that he is confident to return before or during WrestleMania 27.

The superstars who are under consideration of this new story angle are Triple H and, believe it or not, John Cena!

Triple H wanted to turn heel and as he was already out for some time now, a heel turn without investing much time in developing a storyline was quite possible. Secondly, The Nexus does not like Sheamus and so is Triple H. So he was a perfect candidate. But Hunter underwent a surgery last week to heal his tendon tear. He will be out action for next 2-4 months which apparently keeps him out of the “Summerslam” picture.

On the contrary, WWE has been very particular to maintain the “Mr. Clean” image of John Cena. Fans, at times, had been visibly tired and frustrated to see John Cena as a babyface but WWE creative team always stuck to their plans. He is highly popular among young kids and WWE earns the highest revenue from selling his merchandise. In fact, the company has been so concerned to maintain his clean image that recently they changed the name of his trademark finishing move from “F U” to “Attitude Adjustment”. “F U” clearly points to a slang and the change proves how desperate WWE is to keep John in the good books of the WWE fans.

Storyline-wise, Cena’s union with The Nexus will make zero sense. Guys who cost him the WWE Championship thrice, how can you just turn around and join them? Such a WCW-style, no-logic angle was acceptable and quite frequent in the “Monday Night Wars” days, but not anymore.

Even if Cena turns the “bad boy”, who will fill up his place? Randy Orton is a ‘tried and tested’ failure to be the “Main Man”. Edge’s return as a face earlier this year proved he is just not quite acceptable as a face. Storyline-wise, Chris Jericho or CM Punk can’t turn a face during this time. John Morrison, R-Truth, Ted DiBiase, Sheamus, Mark Henry – nobody is a big enough superstar to fit in the shoe’s of John Cena. Having great villains is important to make the angels work, but only if you have better heroes.
